Jakarta, Sept. 4 -- Political analyst Bawono Kumoro from Indikator Politik Indonesia said President Prabowo Subianto's foreign diplomacy has raised Indonesia's profile and strengthened its standing among countries worldwide.

Prabowo's attendance at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, Russia, on Thursday (Sept. 3) as a guest of honor at President Vladimir Putin's invitation had drawn global attention, Kumoro argued.

"Whether we like it or not, Indonesia under President Prabowo Subianto has become far more active internationally, making it increasingly respected by other countries," Kumoro said in Jakarta on Friday.
