Jakarta, July 20 -- President Prabowo Subianto convened senior officials, including ministers and heads of government agencies, for a plenary cabinet meeting to evaluate nearly two years of government performance and prepare for Indonesia's 81st Independence Day celebrations.

Addressing cabinet members at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday, he said the evaluation was essential to review government programs and policies while identifying shortcomings and areas for improvement.
