Jakarta, Oct. 6 -- President Prabowo Subianto said that bonuses for the Indonesian national football team following its victory in the inaugural FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 would be arranged by the Chairman of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI), Erick Thohir.

"Well, that will be handled by the PSSI Chairman," he told reporters when asked about the possibility of bonuses for the players after he watched the final match at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta on Monday evening (Oct. 5).

Prabowo also expressed joy and pride in the national team, praising the players' determination in overcoming Thailand, one of Southeast Asia's strongest sides.
