Jakarta, July 6 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto received Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday for the annual Leaders' Retreat to strengthen bilateral relations.

ANTARA observed that Wong's motorcade arrived at the palace around 11 a.m. local time, escorted by 17 outriders from Indonesia's Presidential Security Detail (Paspampres).

Prabowo, waiting on the palace's west porch, welcomed Wong with a handshake before accompanying him to the veranda, where the national anthems of Indonesia and Singapore were played.

The president, sporting a black suit and light blue tie, then introduced his delegation to the Singaporean dignitary, who matched his outfit and donned a red tie.
