Jakarta, Feb. 16 -- President Prabowo Subianto and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base here on Monday for a working visit to Washington DC, the United States.

According to a statement from the Presidential Secretariat, President Prabowo is accompanied by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

The President is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump to discuss strengthening Indonesia-US relations and strategic cooperation across various sectors.

The visit forms part of Indonesia's active diplomatic efforts to reinforce its national position amid evolving global geopolitical dynamics.
