Jakarta, May 23 -- Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto is committed to strengthen food sovereignty and prevent leakage of the nation's wealth funds, noting several strategic achievements during his 19-month administration.

One of the achievements, he mentioned, is realising self-sufficiency programme on several food commodities.

"We are now achieving self-sufficient in rice, corn, eggs, and chicken. In the next four to five years, we can achieve self-sufficiency in meat as well. Our food supply is relatively secure," Prabowo said a statement on Saturday.
