Jakarta, Nov. 4 -- President Prabowo Subianto has urged state-owned railway operator PT KAI not to worry about the debt related to the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project, known as Whoosh, assuring that he will take full responsibility for it as president.

"I have studied the issue. There is no problem. I will take responsibility for all of Whoosh's project debt," President Prabowo said during a visit to Tanah Abang Station in Jakarta on Tuesday.

He said the government has thoroughly reviewed all matters related to the project's debt and assured that there is nothing to be concerned about.
