Jakarta, Aug. 15 -- President Prabowo Subianto allocated Rp164.4 trillion (around US$10.1 billion) in the 2026 Draft State Budget for national food security as one of the country's priority agendas.

This was announced by the President in his speech on the 2026 Draft State Budget and the financial notes at the Plenary Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) in Jakarta on Friday.

According to him, of the total, Rp53.3 trillion (around US$3.29 billion) will be prepared for food estates and food reserves.
