Jakarta, Aug. 28 -- President Prabowo Subianto stated that training for newly elected regents should be conducted in military camps rather than five-star hotels to build a strong leadership mindset.
"Training for regents should take place in military camps. If necessary, not in five-star hotels," the President said during his speech at the 2025 Apkasi Autonomy Expo in Tangerang, Banten, on Thursday.
He noted that around 80 percent of Indonesia's regents are newly elected and need to quickly learn how to run their administrations.
Prabowo also urged the regents not to hesitate in seeking assistance and guidance from the central government, including the Minister of Home Affairs, when addressing community issues. The President expressed ...
