Jakarta, June 11 -- President Prabowo Subianto and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney explored new cooperation opportunities that may arise following the signing of the Indonesia-Canada Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (ICA-CEPA).

According to Canadian Ambassador Jess Dutton during a media gathering on Wednesday, the two leaders discussed the issue via a phone conversation on Saturday (June 6).

"The prime minister and the president identified opportunities to deepen trade and investment ties between Canada and Indonesia, including in the context of ICA-CEPA," Ambassador Dutton stated.
