Jakarta, April 21 -- President Prabowo Subianto received a call from Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to discuss the initial export agreement for 250,000 tons of Indonesian urea fertilizer to Australia as part of strengthening trade cooperation.

"In the call, PM Albanese expressed his appreciation for the President's approval for the initial export of 250,000 tons of urea fertilizer to Australia," Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said in Jakarta on Tuesday.

In addition to Australia, Indonesia plans to export urea fertilizer to other countries, including India, the Philippines, Thailand and Brazil-amid global supply chain disruptions caused by rising tensions in the Middle East.
