Jakarta, April 8 -- President Prabowo Subianto has ordered that if the cost of carrying out the Hajj pilgrimage increases due to the surge in global aviation fuel prices, it should not be passed on to prospective Indonesian pilgrims.

Despite facing this pressure, Hajj and Umrah Minister Mochamad Irfan Yusuf emphasized that the President's directives become a primary guideline for the government in formulating policy measures.
