Jakarta, Aug. 19 -- The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (PMK) pledged to assist the Poso district government in Central Sulawesi in carrying out emergency measures following a powerful earthquake that struck the region on Sunday (August 17).
The ministry's Deputy for Coordination on Disaster and Social Conflict Mitigation, Lilik Kurniawan, said his office would continue to work closely with the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) to ensure residents, affected by the disaster, receive adequate assistance.
