Jakarta, Sept. 27 -- National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo affirmed that 1,765 tons of corn harvested in the third quarter, managed by the National Police (Polri), will be distributed to the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) warehouses.
"Today, we are sending 1,765 tons of corn to Bulog, including 614 tons from South Sumatra Province. Of that amount, 100 tons from Oku will be prioritized for Bulog," General Listyo said during the third-quarter harvest event in East Oku, South Sumatra, on Saturday.
This initiative, he said, is part of the National Police's commitment to supporting the government's food security programs. He emphasized that this is not the first time Polri has contributed harvests from its cultivated lands.
