PM Modi prays for India-Indonesia prosperity during Prambanan visit
Jakarta, July 9 -- Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi took the opportunity during his visit to Prambanan Temple, Yogyakarta, on Wednesday, to pray at the sacred Hindu site for the prosperity of Indonesia and India.
"In this temple complex, there are sacred statues of Lord Shiva, Durga, and Ganesha. For centuries, devotees have worshipped at this place with deep faith and devotion," PM Modi stated in a joint press statement with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the temple.
"Today, I have the honor of offering prayers and paying my respects at this holy site. This moment is one of the most sacred, memorable, and devotion-filled experiences of my life," he continued.
