Jakarta, April 14 -- Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun stated that Pertamina's refineries are capable of processing crude oil from Russia.

"For crude oil from Russia, Pertamina's refinery Unit is capable of processing it into refined products," Dumatubun told ANTARA, contacted from Jakarta on Tuesday.

The statement relates to the government's plans to purchase crude oil from Russia.

Dumatubun stated that Pertamina will certainly follow government directives and policies regarding crude oil trade, including potential imports from Russia.

"Pertamina will certainly support and play a role in providing domestic energy and its distribution, from processing to finished products," Dumatubun said.
