Jakarta, Aug. 16 -- PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, a subsidiary of state-owned energy company Pertamina, is gradually restoring fuel and LPG supplies across Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake disrupted operations at dozens of gas stations on Saturday.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Vice President of Corporate Communications Kitty Andhora stated on Sunday that 32 of Flores' 52 gas stations were operating, while 20 remained closed due to earthquake damage.

Operations remain fluid and are being monitored continuously, Andhora said.

"Some closed stations face power outages, damaged facilities, or unsafe surroundings. Others are structurally safe but remain closed as operators prioritize safety," she said.
