Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- State-owned oil company Pertamina has confirmed that additional fuel supplies for private retailers affected by recent shortages at their filling stations will arrive in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina's subsidiary, Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth Dumatubun, stated that the company has offered to supply urgently needed fuel to private retailers operating in Indonesia-such as Shell and British Petroleum (BP)-which have been hampered by supply disruptions.

"We expect private companies to collaborate with us in good faith, while adhering to the regulations and requirements expected of a state-owned enterprise," Dumatubun said on Wednesday.
