Palu, C Sulawesi, May 25 -- PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased the supply of subsidized 3-kilogram LPG cylinders and fuel across Sulawesi to ensure energy needs are met ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday.

"The increased supply is part of Pertamina's efforts to anticipate a surge in public demand during Eid al-Adha," Lilik Hardiyanto, Area Manager of Communication, Relations, & CSR for Sulawesi Region at Pertamina Patra Niaga, said in a statement received here on Monday.

For South Sulawesi, the company-which is the subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina-increased the LPG supply by 205,000 cylinders, alongside an extra distribution of around 135,000 cylinders.
