People-to-people ties key to Georgia-Indonesia relations: envoy
Jakarta, April 30 -- Ambassador of Georgia to Indonesia Tornike Nozadze underscored the importance of people‑to‑people contacts in strengthening relations between the two countries.
"People-to-people contacts are becoming and have always to be truthful, very important in terms of the relations between the countries," Nozadze said in an interview with ANTARA News Agency here on Tuesday (April 28).
He noted that the two nations share surprising cultural similarities, particularly in cuisine, describing Georgian food as being rich in spices and flavor profiles familiar to the Indonesian palate.
