Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad voiced support for the government's initiative to expand the Free Health Checks (CKG) program to schoolchildren, starting with 12 schools.

"As part of the Indonesian nation, we, at the DPR, fully support the government's Free Health Checks program," he stated at the Parliamentary Complex in Jakarta on Monday.

He also praised the government for successfully promoting the medical initiative, transforming people's early skepticism into growing enthusiasm.

In this context, Dasco cited data showing that around 69 million citizens have registered on the SATUSEHAT mobile application to access the CKG program since its launch on February 10 this year.
