Jakarta, Dec. 15 -- Over 145,000 joint personnel will be deployed for the year-end holiday security operation, dubbed "Operasi Lilin 2025" (Operation Candle), which will be active from December 20, 2025, to January 2, 2026.

According to Deputy Police Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, the personnel, totaling 146,701, will come from the police, the military, and other agencies.

"The joint personnel comprise 77,637 Police officers, 13,775 military personnel, and 55,289 personnel from other stakeholders," Prasetyo stated after attending a cross-sectoral coordination meeting here on Monday.
