North Penajam Paser, Aug. 2 -- Construction of key facilities for the Constitutional Court (MK) and Judicial Commission (KY) in Indonesia's future capital, Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, has reached 12.41 percent completion, according to the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN).

"The development of the IKN judicial area officially commenced in December 2025 under the second phase of the city's construction," Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) Head Basuki Hadimuljono said in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan.

Speaking on Saturday, August 1, Hadimuljono noted that the 15-hectare judicial zone will house facilities for the MK, KY, and the Supreme Court, alongside the Plaza of Justice and a mosque.
