Jakarta, Sept. 4 -- Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo has confirmed that all 17 road sections and 14 bridges affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) have been restored and are now operational.

"In East Nusa Tenggara in general, all national roads are already in good condition. We are now moving on to provincial and regency roads. Some of the provincial and regency roads are relatively small. Several sections will later be used to connect regencies and serve as alternative routes," Dody said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.

The restoration is an important step in maintaining public mobility and ensuring the distribution of essential goods continues in the affected areas.
