Ternate, Nov. 8 -- The North Maluku provincial government has pledged full support for President Prabowo Subianto's push to digitalize education and improve learning quality across Indonesia.
As part of the initiative, the province has begun connecting remote schools to the Starlink satellite network to overcome internet black spots, said Abubakar Abdullah, head of the North Maluku Education and Culture Office, on Saturday.
"Using our 2025 regional budget, we have connected 89 schools to the Starlink network. Next year, more schools will be added through the 2026 budget," Abdullah said.
