Jakarta, Aug. 13 -- Indonesia's National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has arrested a fugitive drug kingpin and seized 98 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, firearms, and luxury assets during a raid in North Jakarta.

The suspect, identified as MR and widely known as "Bos Gendut" (Fat Boss), was tracked from the notorious Kampung Bahari neighborhood to a beauty salon in Mangga Besar before being captured on Wednesday night, BNN Enforcement and Pursuit Director Brigadier General Roy Hardi Siahaan said.

MR had been a fugitive since November 7, 2025. During the operation, authorities confiscated 98 kilograms of methamphetamine alongside gold bars, a samurai sword, ammunition, and other illicit items.
