Jakarta, April 3 -- Deputy Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), Eddy Soeparno, called on universities to support President Prabowo Subianto's efforts to accelerate the energy transition, including the 100 GW solar energy, transportation electrification, and bioenergy development.

"In response to the current geopolitical situation, President Prabowo's commitment needs to be supported by all parties, both political support in parliament and support from the academic community, in this case, universities," he said in a statement here on Friday.
