Jakarta, Sept. 26 -- The Ministry of Manpower highlighted its commitment to building an inclusive employment ecosystem for all, including people with disabilities, to support them in working and being independent.

"We believe that with the synergy of the government, industries, and businesses, as well as the community, we can create inclusive employment," the ministry's Director of Special Workforce Placement Development, Anggun Sintana, said in a press briefing here on Friday.

To achieve the goal, there are several measures prepared by the ministry, including disseminating information to companies regarding Law Number 6 of 2018, which mandates companies to ensure at least 1 percent of their workforce are people with disabilities.
