Jakarta, Aug. 11 -- Indonesian Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar said today that her office has not provided financial support for the animated movie Merah Putih: One For All, currently under the public spotlight for its perceived underwhelming quality.
"We do not provide financial support or promotional facilities," she stated on her Instagram account @irene_umar, as cited in Jakarta on Monday.
Nevertheless, she confirmed that she had met with the production team of the controversial movie, which centers on Indonesia's Independence Day as its main theme.
