Jakarta, Jan. 10 -- Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan inspected Kuala Simpang Market in Aceh Tamiang District, Aceh, to monitor the accelerated recovery of the food sector and the local economy following recent floods.

The inspection was conducted alongside Trade Minister Budi Santoso, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, and Aceh Tamiang District Head Armia Pahmi as part of a cross-sectoral effort to address the disaster's impacts.

"The recovery of people's markets and the fulfillment of basic needs for affected residents are priorities, ensuring community economic activities resume as soon as possible," Hasan said in a statement received on Saturday.
