Jakarta, Sept. 3 -- The Ministry of Creative Economy and the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment are targeting the creation of 1.2 million new jobs in the creative economy sector.

"First, we need to strengthen professionalism in each creative economy subsector to create jobs and encourage entrepreneurship. Second, linking output to the creative economy subsector by collaborating with various parties," the Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, noted on Wednesday.

During a meeting with Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment, Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, on Tuesday (September 2), Harsya mentioned that the goal will be realized through a collaborative strategy and data synchronization between ministries.
