Jakarta, March 10 -- Manpower Minister Yassierli has called on young people to enhance their competitiveness through three main aspects under the "triple readiness" concept, namely strengthening technical skills, soft skills, and market entry readiness.

"Facing these three challenges, technical skills and soft skills alone are not enough. Young people must have market entry readiness, or the ability to understand the dynamics of the global labor market," Yassierli said in a statement here on Tuesday.

He emphasized that these three areas of readiness are crucial as the workforce faces global uncertainty, increasing international competition, and massive technological disruption.
