Minister urges stronger data quality for social welfare services
Jakarta, July 25 -- Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf urged stronger collaboration to improve data quality for targeted social assistance programs during the 59th anniversary of the Indonesian National Council for Social Welfare (DNIKS).
"DNIKS must help provide accurate data. Since 2025, Indonesia has used the National Single Socioeconomic Data, which is updated by the Social Affairs Ministry, regional governments and other ministries," Yusuf said.
The minister outlined the message as one of five priorities for the council, according to a statement released Saturday.
Yusuf also called on DNIKS to help social welfare institutions strengthen organizational capacity, improve human resources and secure adequate facilities and infras...
