Jakarta, Oct. 27 -- Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi has urged students at Islamic boarding schools to use the internet responsibly, warning that digital platforms can expose them to online violence, bullying, and sexual exploitation.
"Islamic boarding schools play a key role in shaping a generation with strong moral values and patriotism. Protecting children is vital to building a developed Indonesia because they are the nation's future leaders," Arifah said in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.
She stressed that collaboration with Islamic boarding schools is crucial to ensure children's rights to safe and violence-free education are upheld.
