Mataram, NTB, Feb. 28 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi urged all stakeholders at the central and regional levels to prioritize disaster mitigation efforts for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming travel period.

This step is deemed essential as an anticipatory measure against adverse weather conditions in several regions.

"We have prepared all the transportation modes for the 2026 Eid travel, but we demand special attention to weather conditions," he said in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on Saturday.
