Minister urges companies to hire trained workers with disabilities
Jakarta, Oct. 2 -- The Indonesian government has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering an inclusive employment ecosystem, with Manpower Minister Yassierli urging companies to hire people with disabilities who have participated in ministry-backed training programs.
In a statement received here on Friday, he encouraged business associations to coordinate with the Manpower Ministry on their workforce needs.
He assured companies that the ministry would seek to provide a pool of skilled workers with disabilities through free training and capacity-building programs.
