Jakarta, April 5 -- Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman is seeking to make Indonesia a world food superpower, thereby calling all elements of the nation to unite to strengthen national food security.
"We want this republic to endure for thousands of years to come, and for Indonesia to become a superpower in a short period," he said on the sidelines of a visit to a Bulog warehouse in Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Sunday.
According to him, Indonesia currently possesses strong water, food, energy, and protein security.
