Bandung, Sept. 27 -- Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, stated that as many as 2,333 villages across the country still lack internet connectivity, emphasizing the need for multi-sector collaboration to address this issue.
"We believe this figure is a realistic target if all of us join hands to tackle these challenges together," Meutya said while leading the ceremony commemorating the 80th Postel Service Day in Bandung, West Java, on Saturday.
She added that currently 2,017 villages are living without access to 4G services. Additionally, 316 villages, mostly non-residential farming areas, also experience similar connectivity gaps.
