Jakarta, July 31 -- Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian has called for accelerating the integration of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), or e-government, to improve the accuracy of social assistance distribution.

By integrating biometric-based population data with various ministries and government agencies, the government aims to ensure that social assistance reaches those who are genuinely eligible.

"With this system, we can identify more precisely and accurately who is eligible to receive social assistance and who is not," he said in a statement received here on Friday.
