Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi conducted an airworthiness inspection at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to ensure that aviation safety and operational standards are upheld.

"Together with inspectors from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, we directly inspected aircraft fuselages and engines, pilots, personnel, and flight documentation," the minister said in a statement issued in Jakarta on Monday.

The inspection covered aircraft operated by PT Garuda Indonesia, PT Super Air Jet, PT Batik Air, and PT Citilink Indonesia. "We want to ensure that every component meets the required standards," he emphasized.
