Jakarta, Aug. 16 -- State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi inaugurated 76 members of the Heirloom Flag-Raising Troop ( Paskibraka ) who will serve at the flag-hoisting ceremony marking Indonesia's 80th Independence Day anniversary at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Sunday (August 17).

The oath-taking ceremony took place on Saturday, at the State Palace in Jakarta, attended by former president Megawati Soekarnoputri, who chairs the Steering Council of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP).

Led by Ritha Lovely Ayomi, a Paskibraka member from West Papua, the ceremony began with the national anthem Indonesia Raya , followed by BPIP Head Yudian Wahyudi guiding the 76 youths in reciting the Paskibraka Pledge.
