Jakarta, July 20 -- Indonesia's Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi pushed for an aspiration document of Voice of Indonesian Children (SAI) to become a key foundation in driving government policies focused on the best interests of children.

In a statement in Jakarta on Monday, Fauzi expressed hope that what the children have expressed directly will transform and yield policies that truly address their needs.

"Listening to children's voices is not an option, but a national obligation and a shared responsibility," she emphasised upon receiving the SAI official document from National Children's Forum representatives during the workshop here on Sunday.
