Jakarta, Oct. 6 -- Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman has called on the Indonesian Businesswomen Association (IWAPI) to strengthen synergy in building national food security.
The Ministry, he said, is ready to support IWAPI with technical assistance, including the provision of seeds for horticulture and plantations, as well as aid for poultry and goat farming, to support food security.
"I envision a large consortium of Indonesian women's organizations working together on nutritious food programs, affordable food movements, and food self-sufficiency initiatives," Minister Sulaiman stated after receiving IWAPI's visit here on Monday.
