Minister AHY focuses Bali's development on four key priority clusters
Denpasar, Bali, July 20 -- Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) is focusing Bali's development on four clusters.
"These four clusters are Bali's development efforts, which I hope we can oversee together," he conveyed at the Bali Regional Development Coordination Meeting in Denpasar on Monday.
He outlined the tourism sector as the main cluster, noting the success of Bali's tourism in generating Rp176 trillion (US$9.4 billion) of the Rp319.9 trillion (US$17.2 billion) in tourism foreign exchange.
AHY added that Bali accounted for 45.8 percent of foreign tourist arrivals to Indonesia in 2025, highlighting the need to expand tourism while safeguarding the island's natural environm...
