Medan, Oct. 26 -- The Medan Class I Special Immigration Office in North Sumatra prevented two Pakistani nationals from entering Indonesia through Kualanamu International Airport due to suspected involvement in criminal activities.

"This action demonstrates the Immigration Office's readiness to safeguard the security and sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia," said Head of the Medan Class I Special Immigration Office, Uray Avian, in a statement received in Medan on Sunday.

He stated that the measure was taken to ensure that every foreign national entering the country complies with legal requirements and poses no threat to national stability and security.
