Manufacturing industry drives Indonesia's trade surplus: minister
Jakarta, Oct. 2 -- Indonesia's export performance continues to demonstrate strong growth momentum, driven primarily by a 12.48 percent surge in exports from the manufacturing and processing sector, Trade Minister Budi Santoso announced on Friday.
According to the ministry data, Indonesia's total export value in August 2026 reached US$26.61billion, marking a 6.72 percent increase compared to August 2025.
Non-oil and gas exports accounted for US$25.62 billion of the total figure, propelled by processed industrial goods.
