Jakarta, Oct. 31 -- The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized a gas plant and 13 gas pipelines in Cilegon, Banten, as part of an investigation into alleged corruption involving state-owned gas company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN).
The assets are linked to a scheme that reportedly caused state losses of up to US$15 million, according to an investigative audit by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told reporters in Jakarta on Friday that the assets seized belonged to PT Banten Inti Gasindo (BIG), comprising a 300-square-meter plot of land and a two-story office building in Cilegon.
