Jakarta, Oct. 31 -- The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) called on schools and communities to implement effective early warning systems and provide compassionate care to prevent student suicides.

"KPAI urges all parties to build early warning systems in schools and communities. Children showing changes in behavior, loss of motivation to study, or signs of severe stress must receive immediate attention and psychological support," KPAI member Aris Adi Leksono said on Friday.
