KP2MI, Udayana University establish Migrant Center
Jakarta, Oct. 2 -- The Ministry of Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection (KP2MI) has partnered with Bali's Udayana University to establish a migrant center, a move aimed at strengthening higher education's role in supporting the protection of migrant workers.
"Through education, research, innovation, and community service, Udayana University can contribute to strengthening the knowledge, competencies, and readiness of the younger generation," P2MI Minister Mukhtarudin said on Friday.
Mukhtarudin emphasized that upskilling is crucial to ensuring that migrant workers possess competencies aligned with global labor market demands.
