Jakarta, Aug. 19 -- The National Commission on Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan) has underlined the need for data integration and synergy in documenting cases of violence against women.

Komnas Perempuan Chairperson Maria Ulfah Ansor here on Tuesday noted that the commission is collaborating with the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection and the Service Provider Forum (FPL) to conduct data matching to minimize duplication and improve accuracy.

According to her, this effort is crucial to ensure that policies are designed based on actual conditions.

Ansor called on all parties to help build a supportive ecosystem for victims by strengthening services, enforcing the law fairly, and continuing to reject violence.
